9. Ruth and Harold Hayward Scholarship - Deadline Extended

Due to an extremely low number of applicants (1), the deadline for submitting an application for the Ruth and Harold Hayward Scholarship has been extended to April 18, 2008.  Don't miss this second chance for $3000!

Through the generosity of Ruth and Harold Hayward, the College of Engineering and Tau Beta Pi are able to offer $3000/year scholarships.  Last year, 15 scholarships were awarded.  All current sophomores and juniors in engineering are eligible to apply.  If awarded for the junior year, the scholarship can be renewed for the senior year. H ayward scholarships are given to outstanding engineering students on the basis of academic achievement, service, leadership, and initiative.  The application can be downloaded at http://tbp.ec.uiuc.edu/scholarship/HaywardApplication2008.doc.  Submit completed applications to Kay Kappes in 206 EH.
