  1. Ornament sale in MEL

ASME is selling ornaments in MEL all this week to benefit a needy family from the Champaign women in transition center. The ornaments are being sold for one to five dollars. You can buy them plain or decorate them in any way you like! Look for us in MEL this week and come help out those in need.

  1. Committees

It is definitely not too late to get involved with an ASME committee! Committees are a great way to get more involved with ASME, meet new friends, network, and are a great resume booster! For more information on the committees that are available, see http://asme.ec.uiuc.edu/committees.htm and feel free to email any exec board member for more info.

  1. EOH Committee

Engineering Open House, the biggest engineering event on campus, is right around the corner.  If you would like to help out with ASME's exhibit or would just like more information, please email Matt Savoie at msavoie2@uiuc.edu.  Activities will include: build sessions, planning meetings, and learning and exhibiting equipment in MEL.

That’s all for this week. Happy studying and Happy Holidays!
