1. ASME Cookout - Wednesday, April 26

ASME will be having a cookout on Wednesday, April 26 from 11am to 1pm. We will be serving hot dogs, chips, and drinks for $.50 each so be sure to stop by for lunch! If you're interested in helping out, we need volunteers to help set-up, sell, and clean-up, so e-mail Mike Hong at mkhong1@uiuc.edu for more info. If it should rain/tornado, then the cookout will be moved to the courtyard of MEB.

2. Professor Auctions!

Location: ASME Cookout

Bidding from 11am-1:30pm

The general idea of this is that you can bid on a professor to "go out"

with...kind of like a date auction, but not really at all. The professor covers the bill. All proceeds from the auction (what you pay) will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Bids will be accepted throughout the ASME cookout and closed at 1:30pm. The following three professors/activities are up for bid:

Professor Newell - Bowling at the Illini Union followed by pizza at Papa Del's for up to four students

Professor Dantzig - Bowling for up to four students

Professor Glumac - Papa Del's pizza at 5 pm on a Tuesday, followed by a trip to Brothers, where he will buy the draft and soda fountain beverages until 8 pm for up to four students

Email Heather - hdvance@uiuc.edu - if you have any questions.
