1. Plant trip to Lyondell-Equistar
Date: Saturday, April 1st
Time: 7:45am - 4:00pm
We will be visiting Lyondell on Saturday, April 1st. Transportation and lunch will be provided by Lyondell. We will leave from U of I at 7:45am and arrive back at 4:00pm.
Lyondell has $15.2 billion in revenues, and is a global leader in the manufacturing of chemicals and polymers. From our cars to our homes, from the grocery store to the office, Lyondell's products are vital to the goods that people throughout the world depend upon to enhance their quality of life. This is a great chance to see a manufacturing plant up close and learn more about mechanical engineering.

2. FE Exam Review Signup - Last Call
Date: Tuesday, March 28th
Time: 12-3pm
Location: Table near Bevande's in MEL
There are still spots available in the FE Exam review class. Cost for all 8 sessions is only $10. You can also come to the first review session and sign up at the door: 7-9pm in room 119 MSEB (Tuesday 3/28).

3. Technical Elective Night
Date: April 5th
Time: 5:00pm
Location: 119 MSEB
Still unsure which M&IE electives to take? Listen to ME professors give presentations about the electives they're teaching in Fall 2006. You might decide to switch your schedule around, you never know.
4. Ultimate Frisbee Tournament
Sponsored by: HKN, IEEE, ASME, ISCE, SHPE
Date: Saturday, April 15th
Time: 1-4:00pm
Location: South Quad
Get together with your friends and sign up for an ultimate frisbee tournament sponsored by several engineering societies. The tournament is open to all College of Engineering plus LAS-ChemE, Math, Physics, and CS majors. The entry fee is $80 per team, and teams must have 7 to 12 players, with 2 girls on the field at all times. Shirts and snacks will be provided, and the top two teams will win awesome prizes. All of the proceeds will benefit the Swann Center.
To enter, send players names, netid's years, majors, genders, and adult shirt sizes to joanlee@uiuc.edu.
Sign up is limited to 8 teams, so make sure to sign up early!!
5. Relay for Life
ASME is sponsoring a Relay for Life team this semester (April 28th). T More details as to how you can help make a difference to be announced soon.
6. ASME Cookout
ASME will be having our spring semester cookout sometime the week of April 24th. More details will be announced in the next week or so.
