1. General Meeting with Caterpillar
When: Tuesday, October 14th from 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Where: MEB 135
Join company representatives from Caterpillar and learn more about the many opportunities available to Mechanical Engineers.
2. Lunch with Professor Krier
When: Wednesday, October 8th, 12:00pm
Where: Illini Union Ballroom
There will be a professor lunch this Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00pm in the Illini Union Ballroom. Come enjoy a free lunch while getting to know Professor Herman Krier.

3. Homecoming Float Build
When: Tuesday, October 7th, 7pm
Where: Engineering Special Projects Lab
We will have our last float build on Tuesday, October 7th, at ESPL. We are almost done with the float! Come help us with our final touches.

6. Technical Topics Seminar with Professor Vanka
When: Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00pm

5. Fall Barcrawl
When: Wednesday, October 22nd
Come out to celebrate the time between midterms on our fall barcrawl! As always, we'll have free food and drinks at the first bar. T-shirt sign ups will be in MEL the week before the barcrawl. Stay tuned for more details.
6. Paintballing
When: Saturday, October 25th, 1:00PM – 5:30 PM
Where: Firemark Paintball
The American Society of Civil Engineers has challenged us to a paintball tournament on Saturday, October 25th at Firemark Paintball, a five-field venue close to campus. It will cost $10 per person, regardless of whether you bring your own gun or not. Payment will be due at the time of the event. We're going to leave campus at 1 PM and return around 5:30 PM.

7. FE Exam Review
The Fall 2008 ASCE F.E. Review Sessions start on 9/22/08 and run through 10/16/08.
If you still would like to sign up for the F.E. Review Sessions, there will be an ASCE officer present at 6:30pm before the 9/22/08 (in 103 Trans. Building) and the 9/25/08 (in 1310 DCL) sessions to help with sign-ups.
Any updates in the schedule or announcements that affect the F.E. Review Sessions will be sent out via e-mail to those signed up and they will also posted on the ASCE website www.uiasce.org.
